Ç Go back
I was saved in 1964 when the preacher used the Bible to show me that I was wicked and lost without hope except in Jesus Christ. Twelve years later the Lord called me into the ministry, so I left to study the Bible at Kapsabat Bible College.
Since graduation, I have started four churches and trained three men for the ministry who are now serving as pastors. I conduct open air meetings, children's meetings and do work among the tribal groups in our region. Thus far one hundred seventy have been saved and one hundred fifty have been baptized. These people are from the language groups I speak which are English, Swahili and Luo. I am from the Luo tribe.
I work with other pastors and together we serve the Lord by visiting the sick, preaching in the streets, and in house to house witnessing.
My house is two rooms and is made from grass. The church is only able to provide me with about 1/3 of my family's need, thus your generous support will greatly help us to survive and succeed. Our people would like to do more but we have been experiencing famine conditions here for several years. In addition, there is a growing political unrest and persecution has already begun for us. Please remember us faithfully in your prayers.
